One last note: This is a 3 hour movie by necessity. I don’t want to hear any complaints! After all… you spent 12 years plus college learning lies and propaganda from the public/private school system. Comparatively, 3 hours will answer just about all of your questions about everything in government. Get over it!!!

Thanks for watching,

    Clint,

I’ve written a email to Jordan School District regarding their 2009 CAFR. My question was about Unrestricted Net Assets. I wanted to know what they are. The response I got was to me, mostly jargon-filled accounting lingo. Hence I’m still at a loss.

I’m not sure if you remember that not too long ago there was news of Jordan School Districts head administration official getting paid inordinate amounts of money.

    Care to comment?

    Parker
    Sandy, UT

    • admin says:

Unrestricted net assets means money that is either in cash form, is tied up in investments that can be liquidated, or in some other form that is not bound by any debt. It is free and clear, though sometimes it is already “designated” for other things. But these other things are generally not in the students, taxpayers, or peoples best interest. The school board or city council will designate these sometimes.

It is money (assets) available to pay for anything, including any budget shortfalls.

Remember, you are poking at the tiger with a stick, and they aren’t going to be cooperative or make it easy.

And one more thing… a lot of these people in these government positions do not know they are part of a much larger crime. They are not guilty of criminal activity, just of ignorance. Treat them with the dignity that you deserved before you were awake. They are we the people too…

And I will always say this: Walter Burien can answer this or any question way better than me. (cafr1.com)

  3. Parker says:

I want to comment that in addition to knowledge of CAFR’s, monetary inflation policy is another major tool TPTB use to extract power from the people. With knowledge of both, one can see deeply into the workings of these banksters/demonic people.

There’s a great report on this called The Death of Money available as a pdf. GOOGLE IT

    Hey,
I’m just wondering if these “fund” are earmarked for teachers, police and firemen, how do you figure that they belong to anyone else? After all, is’nt that the deal that their unions had given them in thier collective barganing aggreements?
Is there something illegal or nefarious going on that we the taxpayers need to understand?
    I appologize if I don’t get it.
    jonny

    • admin says:

Well Johny, let me tell you!

All government pension funds are contributory. The root of this word, contribution, means that government employees are donating-giving-parting from-releasing all ownership of their money.

In other words, if these pension funds declare bankruptcy, pensioners will lose all of the money they contributed to these funds, regardless of retirement or non-retirement status.

Walter Burien describes it best… When you join a government pension fund, you are essentially buying a ticket to ride the pension train. You get on at point A, and get off at point B. But when you get off, you have no vested interest in that train. All you own is the ticket. But the ticket is only worth as much as the paper it is written on. If the train crashes, all passengers (pensioners) aboard crash with it, and lose everything they have invested. And retirees collecting from the fund lose their investments (contributions) as well as their benefit retirement payments. You do not own a piece of the train… you are only along for the ride.

The investments in a pension fund are completely separate from what happens in a pension fund.

For instance, the CalSTRS pension fund collected 4.6 billion dollars from employees and matching taxpayer dollars. But it only paid out about 3.8 billion dollars to it’s retirees. In total, the CalSTRS made an over 12 billion profit in 2008-2009, as of June 30, 2009.

Most important here is to realize that contributions are called contributions and not profit sharing for a reason… because you are contributing your money to the fund! Hurts, don’t it ?

I’ll be writing a more in depth article on this subject soon, and will post it on realitybloger.wordpress.com – my blog site.

      Be well,

      -Clint-

    Dear Clint,
IMHO, your 3-hour CAFR video qualifies as brilliant. I look forward to the shorter version. In the meantimeternity, I will share the 3-hour version as widely as possible!
“…as possible” refers to the fact that, very recently, I have been experiencing some very peculiar “computer stumbling blocks” when dealing with accessing “drafts” involving CAFR content. Unrelated: while watching your video, a “gray-out” glitch occurred during a (or the) Delaware segment (just in case no one else so reported), and then went away…. Two “typos” noted: one incorrect spelling of “it’s” (a common error), and ONE unneeded “in” in this sentence very near the video’s end: “No, I am in [sic] not affiliated with Walter Burien or CAFR1.com in any way….”

  10. YouTube was one of the most popular sites to view all types of videos posted by people worldwide. Just enter the YouTube website and you can search for any type of video on the subject you want.
Integrating HTML and streaming video technology, you are able to watch videos directly from your browser. You are also able to display text or a video response to videos, view other related videos and upload your own video as well. With many features data, there is unfortunately a feature that YouTube does not provide for it and you can download the video.
But here’s a tip for you to download and save the video for offline viewing.
    1. Go to any YouTube video you watch. Right click on the page and select “View Source” option from the menu. Or “View Page Source” for FireFox.
    2. “CTRL F” Press to search a word “player2.swf. And note that there is an HTML line like this:
    “/ Player2.swf? Hl = en & video_id = tRTk0RPXtW4 & l = 63 & t = OEgsToPDskIQlbZwT1Qgaln7RKqMqrKe”

    “Http: / / http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=tRTk0RPXtW4&l=63&t=OEgsToPDskIQlbZwT1Qgaln7RKqMqrKe
    4. Stick to the “Address Bar” on top of your browser and press Enter. Then it prompts you to record video. REMEMBER the name of your video with the extension. “Flv” extension at the end of the file name. A correct example would be something like “myvideo.flv.
Keep in mind that the video that you recorded earlier format is Flash Video. It is the standard file format for YouTube use to play the video on their website. Thus, your Windows Media Player may not be able to play the video. But no worries, what you need to do is just go to google.com and search for “flv player” and there are a couple of players available and free. 11. Yoda says:

Yes, there is a corporation nation. YOU, do not live in it. It is a fiction. The all capital letters fiction that was created from the birth certificate is how you interact with all fictions. In order to understand this, you must understand the all caps is NOT you. They want you to believe it’s you, so you’ll be surety for it. You already are sovereign, you must ACT sovereign or you will not have any freedom. Go here http://www.creditorsincommerce.com they have a plethora of free info that is the best I have seen anywhere on this topic. ~Yoda

    • admin says:

This movie is a tool to be used by the “sovereign movement” to prove without a doubt your claim that the United States is a corporation. Stop quoting obscure references in old versions of Black’s Law Dictionary!!! Use this instead. This trumps a dictionary!

Just like the Branch Dividians, Ruby Ridge, and other sovereign groups and militias who have been killed and imprisoned for expressing their natural rights, you cannot ignore this monster of a corporate structure and just call “sovereign”. A true sovereign is completely detached from all corporate ties. “Creditors in commerce” are not. Unless you do something about it, the system will become stronger and wealthier, and you will not be able to fight it. Courts are private corporations, as you know.

You cannot just sit out the war because you identify as sovereign. It doesn’t work that way. We all must defend each other. Your knowledge does not make you immune or irresponsible to your fellow Americans still trapped in the corporate system. Freedom is responsibility… For yourself and for others’ rights. Instead of being privileged, you are burdened with this knowledge. For it is your responsibility to free others, and not act smug and superior.

  12. DEAR FOLKS, YOU ARE TRUELY PATRIOTS. THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL VIDEO. I AM A AVERAGE I.Q. GUY, AND YOU SPELLED IT SO CLEAR AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. AS I WATCHED THE VIDEO, I WAS GETTING MADDER BY THE MINUTE. WE ARE KEPT SO STUPID, LIKE YOU SAID, IT’S ALL HIDDEN IN PLAIN SITE. TO KNOW THAT WE THE PEOPLE ARE GETTING THE SHAFT FROM SO MANY.(OUR POLITIANS) AS THEY SMILE, AND SHAKE HANDS,(SHAME,SHAME, SHAME,) IT’S ALL VERY SAD AND DEPRESSING,TO UNDERSTAND THAT THESE PEOPLE DON’T CARE ON IOTA ABOUT US. AGAIN, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR PRODUCING THIS VERY ENLIGHTNING FILM. HOW I DO HOPE MANY, MANY PEOPLE WILL SEE IT, I KNOW I WILL DO MY SHARE. SINCERELY, ART. JOHNSON

  13. James says:

    Clint,

This was mostly a very good video and I applaud you on your effort. Nevertheless, I’m left baffled by the fact that an intelligent man could inadvertently make such significant mistakes towards the very end of the video and in turn cause much of its credibility to unravel.

For example: In Part 19 isn’t the $31 billion in interest payments the Federal Reserve collected actually being returned to the United States Treasury (what the US Treasury does with these funds is a separate issue)? Given this fact, if the US Treasury was performing the Federal Reserve’s function, there would not be the kind of savings you imply. Additionally the Annual Federal Reserve’s salaries are 1.4 Billion; which equates to 1/1000th of the $1.4 Trillion federal deficit mentioned by David Walker.

If someone is unwilling to correct their mistakes, does it make them just as guilty as those they claim are defrauding the people?

Clint, we do need some positive change in the world and it all starts with what is between our own ears. We have an obligation to do everything we can to conduct ourselves in a manner that we would like to see others gravitate towards. Society is truly just a reflection of the thoughts and actions of its inhabitants.

Enjoy the holiday season with your family.

    Warm regards,

    James

    • admin says:

Your words are condescending, and I don’t really care for your tone, but I’ll humor you in the interest of clearing this up for the nicer people out there wondering the same thing…

The “mistakes” you refer to aren’t mistakes my friend…

“Interest on Federal Reserve Notes” is exactly what it states on the Federal Reserve CAFR. What is it that you don’t understand? Perhaps if I am missing something, you can explain it to me better. The point is that the American people are paying that interest, not where the money ends up. Government is government, and the Fed is not some rogue element. It is part of the whole. It is time to stop blaming single entities and concentrate on the collective whole of government.

The timing of the 1.4 Trillion comment was off, I’ll admit. I was actually referring to the Federal Reserve as a whole, not just the salaries. 2,248,534,000,000 or 2.2 trillion in total assets held by the Federal Reserve is enough to cure the federal deficit of 1.4 trillion as mentioned by David Walker. I thought anyone with a real comprehension could figure it out without my having to change it all again and reissue a new DVD.

I thank you for your comments, and I hope this clears it up for you.

      -Clint-

      • James says:

        Clint,

Please forgive me for what you felt to be a condescending tone. As I stated, I applaud your efforts and my issues were confined to what I still consider unreconciled mistakes (based on your response to my original comment). Clint, where you say in part 19: “We get to the gold mine; this is what everyone talks about”, you are highlighting an expense to the FED (a payment to the US Treasury). As I said, where the funds sent to the US Treasury end up, is a separate issue. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the grand scheme of things the interest the FED makes is almost irrelevant. However, having the potential to know what monetary policy will be before that policy becomes public; now that is worth discussing. Obviously, there are many other things that could be discussed about the power of the FED as well, but what you chose to highlight is really almost a non-issue.

As for the second mistake I mentioned, I thought your explanation was off-point (other than alluding to having to reproduce a new DVD) and I’m not quite sure how you assumed people would understand what you meant; when based on this new explanation, it still doesn’t even make sense. Since when have annual deficits been equivalent to the national debt?

Clint, quite honestly I really didn’t care if you posted my original comment (in fact, I gave up checking after a couple days and figured you weren’t going to). Nevertheless, I had hoped that you would consider making some changes or at least a notation on the website itself. I would have loved to pass a revised video along to some of my peers; but if that is not to be it is a shame. Unfortunately, when dealing with certain people, right or wrong, there is not a lot of room for the preservation of a message, when inaccuracies are found in the work.

Again, I am sorry if you offended by my original comment and as mentioned earlier, I really do not care if you post this reply. Your video is a fine piece of work and really all the information prior to the discussion on the FED is were the brilliance lies.

        Kind regards,

        James

        • admin says:

Well my friend, if you think $36 billion dollars of taxpayer money as interest paid on federal reserve notes is irrelevant, then we are certainly not on the same page.

And as stated previously and quite clearly, the Federal Reserve has over 2 trillion in assets (as mentioned in the video), more than enough to pay off the 1.4 trillion federal deficit as mentioned by David Walker. No mistake, just a simple editing/timing issue. This is a free movie… feel free to copy, edit, cut, and reproduce until your conscious is clear.

I cannot say anything else to answer your questions.

If anyone else doesn’t understand this, please let me know. My email is clint@cafr1.com

          Thanks James, and God speed.

  14. Trevor says:

Clint- well done and bravo on the Corporation Nation video. My mental thermometer hit boiling point, so I had to break it up into 1 hour segments. But it angered me enough to discuss it at a party I went to Saturday night.

And here’s the interesting part: instead of being met with a bunch of left vs right mumbo jumbo, I was actually surprised when ALL the people in the discussion had the same opinion regarding the fact that the almighty dollar is the root of all our social ills. We all inherently know that we are being lied to. And your video does a fantastic job of putting a microscope on the situation. The excruciating detail is fully necessary to illustrate the juggernaut of our Corporation Nation.

Thank you for your time and effort that went in to producing it. (I’m in film so I know full well the time it takes to produce something like this)

    Hey Clint,

Loved your documentary, very impressed. I am a film student, just made a short film, more creative license was needed because I was only allowed up to 10 minutes to try and help people wake up to whats going on. Hell of a task for a first project. I will have it posted at some point and I’d love to hear some feed back from you. I was seriously impressed with your research, your wit. Right on! Keep up the excellent work …

Have you heard of the Republic of the United States (Tim Turner) movement? Used to be Restore America Plan? Would love to hear what you have to say about it. It is the only organization I know that is actually recognized and gaining tremendous credibility right now. Has all the right parts as an interim pro-people/constitution-based goverment. He himself is a religious man, but the Republic strictly follows the constitution where as long as we do not harm another person, or property, pretty much anything goes. Please look at this movement and tell me what you think.

I know very well about the republics, however I am on the fence about the whole thing. It will be the subject of a future documentary.

Thanks Jasmine, and forward your link when you get it.

  17. Jasmine S. says:

I love that I am actually getting a response from you, and quickly too! I would seriously love to talk to you, for many reasons. I have been researching the Republics movement for about a year and for some reason it’s been difficult for me to completely commit. I would love a sounding board with someone like yourself who is very knowledgeable and may have some alternatives. I don’t want to commit to anything until I am 100%.

Would you be open to having an actual conversation with me?

  18. Stan Kariger says:

Hey, I attempted to email you pertaining to this post but aren?t able to reach you. Please e-mail me when get a moment. Thanks.

  19. DJM says:

I applaud the effort, enjoyed the film and hope it is seen by many….but the flm maker seems to have based his whole thesis on a misunderstanding. A corporation isn’t always a private company run for profit. Every political body is a corporation, it doesn’t mean we are owned by private investors.

In order for any state or political body to be able to exercise any authority it has to be brought into existence, this is done by the act of incorporation which is the creation of a fictitious personality.

Anyone who is interested in reading about the history of the idea and practice could read “Political Theories of the Middle Age” by Otto Gierke for example, but any serious work on the history of political thought will give an account of the idea…………it is nothing to do with modern business corporations, profits or conspiracy.

    • admin says:

As the film maker, please allow me to respond.

Many in this world feel the necessity to get lost in semantics. I’m afraid you are a victim of this. We can argue all day over just exactly what “type” of corporation each government entity is. And yet each municipality will still be a corporation, no matter what we call it.

Perhaps the most important point you may be missing is this: Whatever you call these corporate structures called collective government, they are the worst kind of corporations. You see, we the people do not have a protective body in place to regulate these corporations called government as we do with the Fortune 500. No, these are the corporations that make the rules that corporations must follow. But nobody makes their rules but themselves. Therefore, these government corporations are free-form companies working outside of the laws they set, and there is no recourse for us to do anything about it, not even in the false justice system they have set up (all courts are also private corporations, often owned by the judges who rule them and rented to the city or county). They operate within the laws they set for themselves…

So call them anything you want, call them beautiful flowers if it makes you feel better, but never doubt that they are the worst of the corporate structure.

By the way, when congressmen are hired, they are told they aren’t elected, but are working for a corporation. This from the horses mouth, at http://anticorruptionsociety.com/

Also, since we are at it. If this doesn’t make you see the problem with corporate government owning other corporations, I don’t know what will…

If this list of just a few funds doesn’t convince you, considering that yes, most other investments are through institutional funds (government mutual funds with mutual proxy voting rights) then I’m not sure what will wake anyone up.

Taken from the “Top 10 Largest Equity Holdings” section of pension fund CAFR’s, this is just a small list of government ownership of the “Microsoft Corporation”.
